  3. You agree not to post content that contains advertising, is for commercial purposes, or solicits a person to buy or sell products and services or to make donations. It is inappropriate to post content that does not fit with the themes, message, or theology of The Naked Gospel book as judged by the author and/or board members of The Naked Gospel Project. Any song may be removed from the contest at any time for any of these reasons, before or after the contest has officially ended. Songs that are removed for any of these reasons as judged by the author or board members will obviously not be eligible for a prize or as a song for The Naked Gospel album.

  4. You agree that The Naked Gospel Project and Zondervan have a right to make publicly available via the contest site any content you post there. 5. You may register for only one account with The Naked Gospel Project. You may vote for only one song per day. You may not cast a vote using another person's account. You may not use an automated computer process to submit votes or register for accounts. Each computer IP address may only vote for one song per day, even if multiple people use that same computer. Any violation of these terms may disqualify all votes made through your account. We reserve the right to remove any user from the contest who appears to have engaged in any suspicious activity related to the contest, or anyone who we feel is abusing the intent of the contest in any way.

  6. If at any time you are not happy with The Naked Gospel Project contest or object to any material within the contest, your sole remedy is to stop using the site and to stop visiting the site.

  7. No artist(s) who has/have ever had any recording contract with a major or minor record label that has earned them in excess of $25,000.00 for a single song or for any album or musical compilation is eligible to win this contest. This contest is intended to discover and give exposure to lesser-known talent.

  8. All submissions must be the sole property of the submitter at the time of the submission. If you do not currently retain the rights to the content, you are not permitted to submit that content to this competition. This means that all compilations must be original. Submitters cannot perform and upload songs that are owned by any other person(s). You may only submit one song to the contest.

  9. Submitters to this contest agree to allow their submission to be advertised, publicized, displayed, posted on websites, and distributed by Zondervan, Andrew Farley, and The Naked Gospel Project in any way desired for the purpose of promoting this contest. Once the contest has ended, each submitter who is considered a winner by the contest judges will retain the right to decide whether or not they would like to have their submission serve as part of The Naked Gospel album. After the contest has ended, The Naked Gospel album will be made available for sale through iTunes as an MP3 download and will not be produced in any physical form (CD or other).

  10. One hundred percent of all proceeds from The Naked Gospel album sales on iTunes or on the Zondervan website will go to the non-profit (503c) organization, The Naked Gospel Project, and will be used exclusively to distribute free copies of the book, The Naked Gospel, to church groups, ministry groups, prisons, jails, Christian schools, or similar Christian organizations. None of the proceeds shall be used for any other purpose other than free donations of the book to Christian groups and prisons or jails.

  11. Submitters are free to distribute, sell, or use their submitted song (whether a winning song or not) in any way they choose before, during, and after the contest, and they are in no way restricted from doing so by the existence of this contest or The Naked Gospel album.

  12. We are looking for songs with widespread appeal. Not only will lots of votes factor into the judges' selections at the end of the contest but also the number of IP addresses from which votes are sent will be a significant factor. Judges reserve the right to disregard songs that only received votes from a smaller number of IP addresses or that appear to have received what the judges deem as fraudulent or illegal votes repetitively cast from the same IP addresses. After the voting period has ended, judges will deliberate for up to 30 days before announcing a grand prize winner and the 11 songs that will appear on the album. To be clear, top vote getters can still be eliminated for content irrelevant to the book as decided by the judges, or for only receiving votes from a smaller number of IP addresses, or for any fraudulent or inappropriate activity related to their song, or for any reason as decided upon by the judges.
